Universal Sports Palace Molot named after V. N. Lebedev
Perm, Russia
Formerly: Universal Sports Palace "Molot"
The venue is a multi-purpose hall , hosting both hockey and basketball. It has been the home of BC Parma for some time, and the club’s predecessors won the Russian championship while playing their home final games here. The arena also served as the base for HC Molot, who claimed the Vysshaya Liga title in the early 2000s. The playing surface changes depending on the sport: hardwood for the basketball court and ice for the hockey rink.
The building carries the name of Viktor Nikolaevich Lebedev, the director of the Motovilikha Plants who initiated its construction.
The arena is currently undergoing a major renovation. The regional government transferred ownership to the Perm Krai in 2021, and work on the facades and entrance groups began shortly after. A recent contract covers repairs to the walls and spectator areas, alongside a larger project planned for the central foyer and locker rooms.
