The ground in Varberg is open at the end of Kattegattsvägen. Påskbergsvallen sits open at the end of Kattegattsvägen, with trees closing in around the perimeter and a red running track hugging the pitch. The track is part of the original layout, laid out when the site opened in 1925, and it is still there.

The old stand sits along the sideline, a modest concrete structure that has been reinforced and extended over the years. The latest work came after Varbergs BoIS reached the top flight. The Swedish Football Association (SvFF) required a new main stand, so it was built in the autumn of 2022 and finished by the spring of 2023. New chairs were fitted and the floodlights upgraded; the capacity shifted to 4,575, with 3,000 seated. It is a small venue, but the sight of the new stand rising above the old one marks the difference the promotion made.

The surface is natural grass, undulating slightly where the track meets the touchline. A smaller pitch sits alongside the main field, used for training. The air here is different from the coastal towns further north; the wind comes off the Kattegat and pushes through the open ends, so the ball travels faster and the players must adjust.

The history between the two clubs that have called this ground home is long. Varbergs BoIS made it their permanent base after years of sharing space with Varbergs GIF, and the local rivalry settled into a steady rhythm. The attendance record of 5,197 was set during a Division II match against IFK Göteborg in 1939, a day when the town gathered to watch football rather than listen to the radio station that opened the same afternoon. The King was there for the inauguration, and while he has not returned, the stand has filled out since the renovation.
