Victor Tedesco Stadium

Hamrun Spartans won four league titles and six FA Trophies under Victor Tedesco between 1979 and 1996. The club borrowed the national stadium at Ta' Qali and the Empire Stadium in Gżira; the European run of 1985–86 was played on neutral turf for want of anywhere else. Tedesco set the project in motion in 1984. The ground that carries his name opened on 1 October 1996, built with money from the Maltese government in concert with the Malta Football Association and the local council.

It was the club's first home. That distinction matters more here than the numbers: the stadium at Triq Mile End holds 1,962 seated spectators.

The pitch has been artificial since the 2008 renovation, which is standard on an island where grass is expensive to keep. League fixtures draw 500 to 600. European nights push past a thousand — Alashkert in the 2022–23 UEFA Europa Conference League qualifiers, Lincoln Red Imps in 2025–26.

Football is not all of it. In 2010 the stadium staged the Rugby League European Bowl, where the Malta Knights beat Norway 30–20.
