Formerly: Štadión FC ViOn
The ground sits on Továrenská, in an industrial pocket of Zlaté Moravce, and the name on the gates has followed the money: it opened in 1998 as Štadión FC ViOn , and in 2014 it became the ViOn Aréna . Same pitch, same club, new lettering.
Two rebuilds shaped what stands there now. The first came in 2007, the second in 2014, and each added seats. The 2014 job was also what prompted the change of name, so the arena readers see today is barely a decade old in most of its parts, even though the club has played on the site since the late nineties.
It remains a natural grass pitch, which in a town of this size is less a statement than a matter of what the club has kept up.
Zlaté Moravce is not a large city.
