Stadium
Vortuna Arena
Formerly: Sportplatz Bad Leonfelden
The stadium's sponsor name and the name of the club that plays on it are the same word. Vortuna Arena, on Badweg in Bad Leonfelden, is home to SU Vortuna Bad Leonfelden, and for most of its history the ground went by a plainer label, the Sportplatz Bad Leonfelden, one of the district's public sports facilities.
It opened on 4 August 1974 as a Bezirkssportanlage, built to a scale that has held steady since. Capacity today stands at around 2,000, and the pitch is natural grass.
Bad Leonfelden has no second senior football ground to speak of — Vortuna Arena is the only one in town, and SU Vortuna's home fixtures are what bring it to life through the season.
