The VTB Novogorsk-Dynamo Training Center sits in the Novogorsk microdistrict of Khimki. It opened in 2008, a facility built to serve the twin needs of the local club and the national side.
What separates this ground from a standard training pitch is its role. While Dynamo Moscow uses it as their home base for friendly matches, the facility also hosted the Mexican national team during the 2018 FIFA World Cup. The pitch itself is natural grass, kept in condition despite the frequent use by multiple squads.
The capacity is small, a fact that keeps the crowd close to the action.
The facility remains a quiet hub in Moscow Region, a place where the players can focus without the noise of a city centre stadium.
