Wadham Lodge
London, United Kingdom
Wadham Lodge is a ground in Walthamstow that has outlived the teams that once called it home. It is not a place of grand architecture. The pitch is natural grass, and it is surrounded by a capacity of 3,500, though some accounts insist on 4,000.
The floodlights were installed during the 1988–89 season.
Walthamstow Pennant, later Waltham Forest FC, relocated to Cricklefield Stadium in 2008 due to rent increases, only to return in 2013. Leyton FC moved there in 1995–96 and merged with Walthamstow Pennant to form Leyton Pennant. The current club, Walthamstow FC, was formed in 2014. The ground has seen 909 spectators for a Clapton FC vs Stonewall FC Non-League Day match, and 415 for an FA Cup tie against Leverstock Green.
