Weidner Field
Formerly: Sand Creek Stadium, Switchbacks Stadium
The site began life in 1985 as Sand Creek Stadium, was renamed Switchbacks Stadium in 2016 after the local club, then became Weidner Field in 2017 when Weidner Apartment Homes bought the naming rights. When the new downtown arena opened in 2021, the name travelled with it, and the old ground was renamed Martin "Ed" Ragain Field.
Weidner Field was laid by SprinTurf with an infill called Corkonut, a blend of coconut fibre and cork — the first material of its kind cleared by FIFA for elite competition. Building the downtown arena cost $42 million.
