Weserstadion Platz 13
Weserstadion Platz 13 is not the ground Werder Bremen play in front of the Osterdeich crowds — it is one of the training pitches tucked into the wider Weserstadion complex. The current pitch replaced an older field of the same name, which had fallen out of use and was struck from the club's active roster; the artificial surface at Franz-Böhmert-Straße 1c opened in 2025 as a modest, local upgrade rather than any showpiece rebuild.
It exists for a specific purpose: home fixtures for Werder's reserve side, SV Werder Bremen III, and the club's U19 side. With room for 1,000 spectators, the pitch is built for reserve-league and youth football.
The move to the new address also means a change from the old field's location on Franz-Böhmert-Straße 7, a small relocation within the same training complex rather than a shift across the city.
