The AXA Arena sits in a modern cluster of sporting buildings in the Deutweg district of Winterthur, distinct from the older venues that once served its tenants. The building’s most striking feature is its long, white corrugated metal facade, which stretches horizontally along the street. A large digital screen is mounted on the wall, currently showing an advertisement for handball. Above the screen, the name AXA ARENA is fixed in blue letters with a red diagonal slash. Three young trees with autumnal leaves stand on the grassy verge in front of the building, and a red construction crane rises from a site behind the roofline.

It is a glass-walled office block to the right, marked with the letters WIN4. Inside, the venue hosts Pfadi Winterthur, whose crest features three stars. The arena replaced the older Eulachhalle, which had served the club since 1971. The pitch is an artificial sports floor, though the surrounding area is paved and wet. It hosts matches for Pfadi Winterthur and floorball side HC Rychenberg Winterthur, accommodating 2,000 spectators. The building opened in August 2018.
