Wuliangye Sports Center Stadium
Chengdu, China
Formerly: Phoenix Mountain Sports Park Professional Football Stadium, Phoenix Mountain Sports Park Stadium
The ground inside the Phoenix Mountain Sports Park complex was ready for use in April 2021, yet it took until December 2022 for Chengdu Rongcheng FC to claim it as their home. The structure sits in the Jinniu District, holding 50,695 spectators for matches. That is a reduction from the original 60,000-seat design, but the playing surface is a hybrid system, 95 per cent natural grass reinforced with 5 per cent artificial fibre, which keeps the turf stable through the season.
The most visible change to the venue came in November 2024. The Wuliangye Cultural and Sports Center name replaced the older Phoenix Mountain Sports Park title following a five-year sponsorship worth 180 million RMB. The club sits in the middle of the Chinese Super League, and the attendance record of 41,637 was set in February 2025 against Wuhan Three Towns.
It is a modern facility built by the CSCEC 8th Engineering Division. Fans use third-party platforms like Piaoniu and Damai to secure tickets rather than a dedicated digital hub. It stands next to the Comprehensive Gymnasium, which holds 18,000 to 20,000 people, but the stadium is the main draw for the city.
