FC Tver plays here now, having left the old Khimik stadium when it fell into disrepair. The club was formed in 2020 after the previous team dissolved.

The ground sits on Vokzalnaya Street, a location that has been used for sport since the 1890s. It was once called Mukhomol, after the milling combine next door. Then it was Yunogo Pionera. Now it is simply Yunost. The stadium was certified in 2020, allowing professional matches to return to the city after years without a suitable venue.
