It is not yet a week since the floodlights were adjusted to meet broadcast standards. The capacity was 25,000 until late 2024, when the club’s promotion to the Chinese Super League (CSL) forced the numbers up. They added 5,300 new seats, while a new parking lot for 1,200 vehicles appeared on the south side of Chuangke Avenue. The ground opened in 2023 for the 16th Yunnan Provincial Games.

Yunnan Yukun play here, though their arrival was not straightforward. In early 2024, Dandong Tengyue accused them of bribery to allow them to take Dandong’s spot in China League One; the Chinese Football Association investigated and cleared Yukun, confirming the promotion was due to Dandong’s withdrawal. They have been back in full training since.

The pitch itself is 105 metres long and 68 metres wide, covered in imported Mondo material for the athletics track that still runs around it. In February 2025, they hosted Beijing Guoan in front of 22,330 people. By March, against Zhejiang, the crowd had settled at 21,656.

The Huati Group manages the complex, which covers 200 hectares in total.
