Stadium
Zaglebiowski Park Sportowy
Sosnowiec, Poland
Formerly: Stadion Ludowy (on site)
The ground in Sosnowiec sits where the old Stadion Ludowy once stood.
The pitch itself is the real story. It is a hybrid surface with a heated sub-base.
That is because the club that calls this place home, Raków Częstochowa, plays here for their European matches. Their own stadium in Częstochowa did not meet the requirements for UEFA competitions, so they moved their games to Sosnowiec. When they played FC København in the Champions League play-off, the new place was full to the brim with 11,600 people.
