Zimný štadión Prešov
Prešov, Slovakia
Formerly: Sedlo aréna, ICE aréna
The structure is dominated by a sweeping, saddle-shaped roof, a silhouette that gives it its former name, Sedlo aréna .
Inside, the building holds a natural ice surface, kept frozen by refrigeration for the HC Prešov Penguins and the Slovak Extraliga . The capacity sits at 3,600, a figure that seems small for a room this size. The modern reconstruction carried out between 2019 and 2020 has not changed the fundamental shape of the place.
The ground has seen different crowds. In 1988, a match against MHK Dubnica drew 7,000 spectators, a number that almost doubled the current limit.
