The ground in Perm is defined by its track.

The stadium sits on Kuibysheva Street, an address that has not changed despite the renaming of the venue itself. It opened in 1969 under the name Lenin Komsomol Stadium, a title it kept until the Soviet Union dissolved and the name Zvezda took its place.

The surface is artificial grass, laid down in 2005, a shift that brought UEFA certification and allowed the club to host European matches up to the quarter-finals. The pitch is heated and irrigated, a practical necessity, but the track remains the most visible feature.

FC Amkar Perm calls this place home, and the women’s team Zvezda-2005 Perm plays here too. The attendance record for a match in the modern era came in 2015, when 14,800 people saw the home side take on FC Spartak Moscow. The stadium was not chosen for the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
