About the player
Arsen Adamov started out at Grozny's academy, joining at the age of twelve, and worked through four years and 128 matches at youth level before Akhmat handed him his senior debut in July 2020, a 0-4 defeat to Krasnodar. Six appearances followed before Ural signed him in January 2021.
It was at Ural that the picture began to change. He signed a four-and-a-half-year contract and took the number 23 shirt, going on to make 30 appearances and score once for the club.
A loan to Orenburg for the 2023/2024 season gave him a fuller run of games — 26 appearances, a goal and two assists — before he returned to Zenit. His contract there ran until May 2026, and weeks later, in June, he rejoined Akhmat as a free agent on a deal running to 2029.
Adamov's senior international career opened in October 2023, in a friendly against Kenya. He has since earned seven caps, all in friendlies, and scored twice: against Brunei in November 2024 and against Grenada in March 2025. He has yet to feature for Russia in an official FIFA or UEFA fixture.
