About the player
Farouq Limouri is a defender who came through Feyenoord's youth ranks before switching to the Sparta Rotterdam academy, where he stayed until turning professional in January 2021. That same season he was sent out on loan to Telstar, making nine appearances in the Eerste Divisie. He spent two seasons with the reserve side, Jong Sparta Rotterdam, and making 30 appearances there between 2021 and 2023.
He was capped four times by the Netherlands under-19s, making his debut in a 5-0 win over Cyprus U19, but he has also represented Morocco at youth level, called up to the under-20 squad for the Arab Cup U-20. He has not featured for either country's senior side.
