Jonathan Sirois

Jonathan Sirois grew up at CS St-Hubert before joining the CF Montréal Academy in 2015, and he signed his first professional contract with the club in March 2020 as a Homegrown Player. He spent a one-day emergency loan to Vancouver Whitecaps FC in July 2020 for the MLS is Back Tournament, before a longer loan spell at Valour FC in the Canadian Premier League from 2021 to 2022.

Back at CF Montréal for 2023, Sirois set a club record with 11 shutouts and was named the team's Defensive Player of the Year, and he made his competitive MLS debut that season as an injury replacement for James Pantemis. On 2 February 2026, he was traded to FC Dallas in exchange for up to $350,000 in General Allocation Money, with $75,000 guaranteed and the rest tied to performance; CF Montréal retained a sell-on percentage. The move came after FC Dallas starter Marteen Paes left for AFC Ajax, and Sirois arrived without occupying an international roster slot.

He has yet to win a senior cap for Canada, despite call-ups for the May 2023 Nations League window and the March 2024 Copa América qualifying play-in against Trinidad and Tobago; he was left out of the final roster for that tournament and was not selected for the 2022 World Cup or the 2023 and 2025 Gold Cup squads. He is regarded as a candidate for the 2026 World Cup squad.
