Julien Maggiotti

Julien Maggiotti's career started at home. He joined Gallia Club de Lucciana at the age of five and stayed at the Corsican club until 2020, eventually breaking into the senior side and scoring 20 goals in 53 league appearances. A season at SO Cholet followed before he arrived at Stade Lavallois in 2021, and it was there that he was instrumental in Laval's title win and promotion to Ligue 2, contributing 6 goals and 11 assists. Supporters gave him the club's "Tango of the Season" award, he was named in the division's Team of the Season and was shortlisted for the National Revelation of the Season prize.

That form took him to Belgium, where Royal Charleroi signed him in June 2022, only to loan him straight back to Laval. The 2022–23 loan spell brought 7 goals in 18 league matches, along with a place in the MaLigue2 Team of the First Half of the Season, before a serious knee injury cut the campaign short. In July 2023 he moved on again, joining Sporting Club de Bastia on a three-year deal, and went on to make 37 league appearances for the Corsican club, scoring twice.

In June 2025 Maggiotti returned to Stade Lavallois on a free transfer, signing a contract that runs until 2028. He has not been capped by France at senior level, though he was called up to the French Futsal national team in January 2022, and earlier in his career he represented the Corsica regional side at the UEFA Regions' Cup in 2015 and 2019.
