Mikhail Gorelishvili

Mikhail Gorelishvili was born in Nizhny Novgorod to a Georgian father and a Russian mother. He came through the youth ranks at Chertanovo and Rubin Kazan without breaking into either first team, and it was only once he moved to Georgia and joined Dila Gori that his career properly began. There he won the Georgian Championship in 2014/15 and was runner-up the season before.

His path since has run through a string of clubs on both sides of the border, in Russia, Georgia and Armenia. A brief run with Olimpiyets Nizhny Novgorod, in his home city, brought only two league appearances, and after further spells in Georgia with Dynamo Batumi, Rustavi and Samtredia, he returned to Russian football's lower tiers with Lada Dimitrovgrad and Volga Ulyanovsk. At Amkar Perm and then Leningradets, where he added a First League title in 2022/23, he continued playing regularly.

Gorelishvili represented Russia at youth level, with four caps for the under-19s, but has not been capped by either Russia or Georgia at senior international level. In July 2026, he signed for SKA Khabarovsk as a free agent.
