Yannick Bright's route to Inter Miami began far from Florida, at Arconatese in Italy's Serie D, before he crossed the Atlantic to study and play at the University of New Hampshire. Across four college seasons, the midfielder made 69 appearances, scored three goals and set up eight more, and picked up the America East Midfielder of the Year award three years running, alongside two First Team All-American selections. That body of work took him into the 2024 MLS SuperDraft, where Inter Miami took him 15th overall.

Bright signed his first professional contract in March 2024 and made his MLS debut the following day, spending part of that season also turning out for Inter Miami CF II in MLS Next Pro, where he scored once in three appearances. His progress with the first team has been steady rather than explosive: two goals and two assists to date, but a defensive profile that places him in the 97th percentile among MLS midfielders for defensive actions in 2026.

The past two years have brought silverware and recognition. Bright was part of the Inter Miami squad that won the 2024 Supporters' Shield and the 2025 MLS Cup, beating Vancouver Whitecaps 3–1 in the final. He has since been named to the MLS Team of the Matchday on two occasions, and in October 2025 signed a contract extension through 2028 with a club option for a further year. The clearest sign of how far his stock has risen came with his selection for the 2026 MLS All-Star Game, called up to replace the excused Lionel Messi and Rodrigo De Paul — and he started the match against the LIGA MX All-Stars.
