Badgers Sports Ground

The stadium at Middle Park Avenue has a different story than the one in the photographs. That is not this ground. It is best known by the name 'The Artic Stadium'. The club, Cray Valley Paper Mills FC, has been here since 1998, the year they secured the permanent site after years of moving around following the closure of the paper mills in 1981.

The pitch is natural grass, cut tight for the Isthmian League South East Division. The capacity is small, just 1,000, but the atmosphere changes when the FA Cup comes calling. On 15 November 2023, the stadium hosted a sell-out crowd of 1,550 for a replay against Charlton Athletic. The match was played under floodlights and broadcast live on BBC Two. Charlton won 6–1, but the event remains the club's biggest moment, their first all-ticket home game. The previous highlight was a 3–2 victory over Maidenhead United in 2020, which sent them into the First Round Proper for the first time.
