Campo Sportivo di Chiesanuova

The ground in Chiesanuova is a patch of synthetic grass tucked away on Via Bentivegna Della Valle. It was laid down in 1994. Since 2007, the Rugby Club San Marino has called it their own, alongside the national side, making it the sole rugby pitch in the country.

Don Guido Bibini ’s name is now attached to the stands after a renovation completed in June 2025. The work cost over €1.6 million and focused on safety and accessibility, replacing the old surface and installing a new irrigation system fed by a well on-site. The lighting was also updated to low-consumption fixtures. Before the rugby men arrived, the site belonged to SS Pennarossa, who played there until 2008 when the football clubs departed. The capacity remains a matter of debate among the databases; some list 300 seats, others 1,000, though the official figures do not clarify the final count.

The artificial surface has held up through the seasons, though the new turf was part of the recent overhaul.
