It is not the first pitch for the town; the old stadium stood for more than thirty years before the plans were drawn up. The land for the new project was handed over in 2015. It is a plain, functional build. The municipal building nearby, marked T.C. ERBAA BELEDİYESİ , manages the site, and there is no separate website for the stadium itself.
The capacity figures do not match. German sources place the seats at six thousand, while local reporters in Tokat claim eight thousand. The surface is natural grass. The club, Erbaaspor, has been around since 1947 and plays in the 2. Lig Beyaz Group, but they moved from a 3,000-seat concrete bowl to this newer structure only recently.
The club is currently sponsored as Merkür Jet Erbaaspor or Efor Çay Erbaaspor, names that change with the sponsorship deals, but the ground stays the same.
