FarDU stadioni

The ground in Farg'ona does not shout. It sits at ul. Babura 2. The pitch is natural grass. You do not need a map to find it. You walk down the street and it is there, quiet, waiting for a match.

The history here is not in the architecture. It is in the names. The place has been Neftchi Stadium, Spartak Stadium, and Central Stadium, but the city knows it as the place where the oil refinery team played. That was before the big moves, before the new Istiqlol Stadium took the main club. Now FC FarDU plays here, and the university manages it.

The surface holds up well in the dry heat. Just the stands, the pitch, and the memory of the years before the move.
