Jassim bin Hamad Stadium

The stadium sits in the Fereej Al Soudan district of Al Rayyan, a municipality that extends west of central Doha. Al Sadd Sports Club built the ground and opened it in 1975 after work began the year before, naming it after Jassim bin Hamad, the minister who had permitted the club's founding in 1969. The site has been updated three times since: a first renovation for the 17th Arabian Gulf Cup in 2004, a second for the 2011 AFC Asian Cup between 2009 and 2010, and a third planned for 2025. It became the training base for the French side before the 2022 tournament.

The natural grass pitch has hosted matches for the Qatar men's and women's national teams, and Al Sadd has used it since the doors opened. Al Rayyan SC and Al Ahli SC have also played there, with Al Ahli sharing the ground during the 2009–2010 season. The official capacity is 15,000, though some architectural sources list a lower figure.

The ground has also served international fixtures away from Qatar. It staged the 2006 Asian Games football final, where Qatar beat Iraq 1–0, and the 2004 Arabian Gulf Cup final. During the 2011 AFC Asian Cup it hosted a quarter-final and the match for third place. More recently, it held matches for the 2019 FIFA Club World Cup, the 2023 AFC Asian Cup, and the inaugural Equality Cup in 2024. It also hosted two Supercoppa Italiana finals: the 2014 edition between Juventus and Napoli, and the 2016 final between the same Juventus side and Milan.
