King Sobhuza II Memorial Stadium
Nhlangano, Eswatini
The King Sobhuza II Memorial Stadium sits in Nhlangano, a town in the Shiselweni Region of Eswatini. It holds its own place in the local game. It serves as the home for Nsingizini Hotspurs FC and Rangers FC, clubs that compete in the MTN Premier League of Eswatini.
The surface is natural grass. The atmosphere shifts when the regional derby arrives. In January 2025, the ground filled to its limit as Nsingizini Hotspurs faced Rangers, with over 2,000 fans packing in to watch.
Beyond the league, the stadium hosts the BuildIt Nhlangano U13 Football Tournament, where young players get their first taste of competitive football. The venue also doubles up for community events, including religious revivals that draw people from across the region.
In April 2025, the stadium saw changes. The old cement seats were replaced with chairs ahead of King Mswati III’s 57th Birthday Commemoration.
