Premier Sports Campus at Lakewood Ranch

Most of the 23 pitches at Premier Sports Campus never see a professional fixture; the campus was built to run youth tournaments back to back, and the main stadium is the one field that steps outside that pattern. Lakewood Ranch Chargers Soccer Club has treated the site as its own since the doors opened in 2011, filling the calendar with junior matches long before anyone with a first-team badge turned up.

That changed in 2023, when Sarasota Paradise made the 3,000-seat stadium its base in USL League One, giving the complex its first senior tenant. The pitch itself is Bermuda grass, kept to the Celebration variety used across the grounds, and the stadium sits inside a wider footprint of 140 acres carrying FIFA-standard fields — a scale built for volume, not for a single showpiece venue.

The complex has traded names along the way, opening as Premier Sports Complex before settling into its current Campus branding, a shift that tracks with its growth from a youth-soccer hub into somewhere a professional club could plant its flag. Tennis courts round out the site, though football remains what fills the fixture list.
