Sân vận động Việt Yên opened its doors in August 2024. The stadium sits within Việt Yên Ward in Bắc Ninh City, built as the centrepiece of a larger sports complex project approved in 2021.
The playing surface is natural grass, a requirement for the top-flight V.League 1 in which the local club, Bắc Ninh FC, competes. The facility was constructed by a consortium of local companies. There is, however, a persistent geographical confusion regarding the venue. The stadium is firmly situated in Bắc Ninh Province, a fact that clarifies its identity for anyone tracking the league's geography.
For now, the focus remains on the 7,500-seat capacity and the daily life of the club that calls it home.
