Tatnam Ground

The Tatnam Ground sits on the site of a former middle school in Poole, Dorset, where the club leases the land from the local junior school. The ground replaced the old Poole Stadium, which the club was forced to leave when the greyhound track was widened.

What distinguishes the place is its modest scale and the specific pressures of non-league football. The capacity is often cited as 2,500, though some sources suggest a lower figure. A significant upgrade in 2013 added 100 seats to meet the requirements of the National League South, costing over £200,000. The surface is natural grass, without the luxury of undersoil heating, and the initial development included an £80,000 stand and floodlights.

The ground has seen its share of dramatic moments. The record attendance of 2,203 was set during a Southern League Premier Division match against Corby Town on the final day of the 2014–15 season. Poole lost 2–3, missing the championship on goal difference. The club has also won the Southern League Division One South & West title in 2012–13 and the Premier Division in 2015–16 here.
