Super Globe 2023/24

The IHF Men's Super Globe, currently branded as the IHF Men's Club World Championship, serves as the premier global club championship for handball. Organized by the International Handball Federation, the tournament operates on an invitational basis rather than a league structure with promotion or relegation. Participants are selected based on their status as continental champions from six confederations: Africa, Asia, Europe, North/Central America, South/Central America, and Oceania.

The format features a preliminary group stage leading into knockout rounds for semifinals and placement matches. Typically involving between nine and twelve teams, the field includes the defending champion, the host nation's representative, and wild card entries. FC Barcelona holds the record for the most titles with six wins. The most recent edition saw FC Barcelona defeat Telekom Veszprém in the final.

The competition is distinct from the EHF Champions League, which is a European-only, season-long league considered to have higher overall quality due to the concentration of top European clubs. In contrast, the Super Globe crowns the global champion with a mix of continental winners. Venues have shifted from Vienna to Doha, then to Saudi Arabia, and currently to Egypt. The tournament has undergone several name and venue changes throughout its history, reverting to the IHF Men's Club World Championship title in 2024 after being known as the IHF Super Globe for two decades. A parallel women's version exists but follows different participation patterns.
