ThSV Eisenach — TV Stuttgart: 28:33, Bundesliga

THW Eisenach took on TV Stuttgart in the Bundesliga, and the visitors claimed victory with a 28-33 scoreline. The match finished with the away side extending their momentum while the hosts found themselves deeper in the table. By then, the result had already shifted something in the standings.

TV Stuttgart moved up to 11th place with five points from five games, while THW Eisenach dropped to 15th with just three points after six matches. The gap between them widened — one team building, the other falling behind.

Eisenach had recorded one draw in their last five matches before this defeat, along with one win and three losses. Stuttgart, meanwhile, had lost just once in five games — a narrow 26-29 defeat to Erlangen. The contrast in form was visible in the final score.

We had called for the away win with 54 per cent confidence, and the result confirmed that reading. The visitors took their chances when it mattered, and the hosts couldn't find a way back. And here's the thing — close matches like this often turn on three or four moments rather than the full match.

The result marked a shift for both sides — Stuttgart added another win to their record while Eisenach found themselves further down the table. With only one defeat in each team's record so far, this kind of loss carries weight. The table goes out of the window in these games, but the points add up.
