A. Perlman

Adam Pearlman was born in Johannesburg, South Africa, and moved to Canada at the age of seven. He came through the Toronto FC Academy and, in February 2024, became the 33rd player in the club's history to sign an MLS Homegrown contract, agreeing terms through 2027 with a club option for 2028. He had already made his first-team debut before that, appearing for Toronto FC against St. Louis City SC in July 2023.

Before establishing himself at senior level, he spent two seasons with Toronto FC II, making 45 appearances for the club's development side. He has since gone out on loan twice, first to HFX Wanderers FC, where he made 26 appearances and scored twice, and later to Cavalry FC, adding 20 appearances and a further goal. Across his career to date he has made 128 appearances and scored three goals.

Pearlman has also represented Canada at youth level, earning caps for the under-20 side, and was named to the MLS NEXT All-Star Game roster for the Eastern Conference as a academy prospect while still a teenager. He plays right-footed and stands at 1.83 m.
