Felipe Tempone

Felipe Tempone spent nearly seven years in River Plate's youth ranks before leaving in 2018, when training times and the distance involved became impossible to manage. He joined Independiente's youth system the same year, working his way up through the club's pre-novena categories and eventually into the reserve side.

The forward made his first-team debut on 27 March 2026, coming off the bench in the second half of a Copa Argentina last-64 tie against Atenas de Río Cuarto. He needed barely any time to make an impression: two minutes and 21 seconds after stepping onto the pitch, he had scored, matching the club's record for the fastest goal by a debutant.

That cameo has since translated into a small but steady presence in the first-team picture. In the Primera División he has one goal and one assist to his name this season, and he finished as top scorer for Independiente's reserve team over the 2025–2026 campaign, a sign that his form at that level has not gone unnoticed by the coaching staff.

Tempone has not yet featured for any of Argentina's youth national teams, and his career so far carries no professional trophies or individual honours. His story is still confined to that one afternoon against Atenas de Río Cuarto and the minutes he has since picked up — the kind of start a club takes note of without yet knowing where it leads.
