H. Lázaro

H. Lázaro came through Instituto's academy from the age of five or six, joining not long after 2009 and staying with the club through his entire development. He signed his first professional contract on 30 March 2023, a year before he made his senior debut, and got his first taste of first-team football on 7 April 2024 as a substitute against Barracas Central in the Copa de la Liga Profesional, a match Instituto lost 3–2.

He built on that introduction across the 2024 season, making 12 league appearances and adding a goal and an assist, plus a further outing in the Copa de la Liga Profesional. In 2025 his role expanded further: 18 Liga Profesional appearances, including a playoff game, with an assist to his name, alongside a Copa Argentina appearance in which he scored. By early 2026 his tally stood at 19 league appearances and three in the Copa Argentina, with a goal and three assists in the league.

Lázaro plays as an attacking midfielder and is right-footed. He has not featured for Argentina's senior national side and has yet to win a major title or individual award. He has attracted interest from bigger clubs, with River Plate reportedly among those keeping an eye on him, though no transfer has materialised and he remains a product entirely of Instituto's own system.
