About the player
Luca Moisa was fourteen when he signed his first professional contract with Real Monarchs SLC in December 2022, becoming the youngest player to sign with the club at that time. He made his senior debut for Real Monarchs on 16 September 2023, and by February 2024 had been signed to an MLS Homegrown contract.
His breakthrough at senior level followed in February 2026, when he made his official MLS debut for Real Salt Lake, starting in a 1-0 loss to the Vancouver Whitecaps. A right-footed central midfielder, he has also represented the United States at U-17 level, earning ten caps without scoring, and was part of the squad at the 2025 CONCACAF U-17 Championship. That summer he played at the FIFA U-17 World Cup in Qatar, featuring against Burkina Faso, Tajikistan, the Czech Republic and Morocco.
Moisa is the son of Gonzalo Segares, a former MLS player and coach who led the US U-17 side through the 2025 World Cup cycle.
