«Hvězda Cheb»
Hvězda Cheb itself is younger: the club took shape in 2021 as a reorganisation of Cheb's scattered handball structures under the association Házená Chebsko.
The women's senior team now plays in the second-tier 1. liga žen, and this season has given the club something to point to: a win over league leader 1. SC Bohumín 98, 30:28, and a 26:22 result against SHK Kunovice. In the Czech Cup, Hvězda Cheb reached the round of 16 before Sokol Písek, a side from the top-flight MOL Liga, ended the run 41:27.
Youth development sits at the centre of what the club is trying to build, and in 2025 the National Sports Agency backed that work with a grant of 473,000 Czech koruna. Matches and training split between two venues: the Lokomotiva D-PRODUKT Aréna in Cheb, and the smaller hall in Lázně Kynžvart.
The Cheb arena holds 1,250 spectators.
