Warrenpoint Town

Warrenpoint Town have never won the Irish Cup. Their best run in the competition came almost three decades after the club was formed, in the 2015–16 season, when they reached the semi-final, and they have not been that close since.

The club took shape in Warrenpoint, County Down, in 1987; a handful of records give 1988, but Wikipedia and Soccer Wiki agree on the earlier date. Warrenpoint now play in the NIFL Championship under the nickname "The Point".

Home matches are played at Milltown, which holds 1,450 people, 150 of them seated. The team wears light blue and white at home and switches to black on the road.

Warrenpoint first won the Mid-Ulster Football League in 2001, then added the title again in 2008 and 2010. They stepped up to take the IFA Championship Two crown in 2011, and the climb continued in 2017, when the club won the NIFL Championship itself and also lifted the Mid-Ulster Cup; the cup returned in 2022. Eight years after that title, in 2025, Warrenpoint added the Premier Intermediate League as well.

Warrenpoint's rivalry with Newry City AFC is known locally as the Mourne Ultimatum, and supporters call the upper hand in that fixture the Mourne Supremacy. The BBC has covered the meeting under those terms.
