Dvorana GOC-a

The surface was replaced during a major renovation completed in April 2023 , a project funded jointly by Međimurje County and the Ministry of Tourism and Sport. For handball matches the numbers are different, and historically the space hosted disco parties in the 1970s and 1980s when the building found alternative uses beyond athletics.

The hall became notable during a reconstruction in 2003 specifically for the Women's Handball World Championship. MRK Čakovec of the Premijer Liga and ŽRK Zrinski Čakovec of the 1. HRL both play their home fixtures here, while KK Međimurje Čakovec sometimes uses the venue for basketball, though they have other options in the region.

Concerts have filled the space since the 1970s, when international rock acts including David Bowie and John Mayall performed in the town. More recently Severina played in 2014, Miroslav Škoro in 2023, and Željko Bebek in 2024. The venue does not carry former names — it was never called Dvorana Partizan, which refers to a different building entirely, now known as Macanov dom and originally opened in 1938.
