Galil Yam Arena
Herzliya, Israel
Formerly: Galil Yam Arena (misnomer)
The HaYovel Arena stands at Rashi Street 24, tucked into the basement of the Yuval High School campus in Herzliya. It is a functional space, with its character defined by what is plainly visible rather than any grand design. The playing surface is a synthetic court, marked for both handball and basketball.
The arena is the home of Bnei Herzliya, a club whose women's handball team has dominated the Ligat Ha'Al. This dominance is reflected in their record of nine league titles, accumulated between 2007 and 2016, and ten Israel Handball Cups. The building itself is older, situated within a school founded in 1982, with the sports hall operating since the 1990s. The capacity is modest, holding just 500 people. The men's team plays in the Ligat Winner, while the women's side remains the primary fixture at this venue. The basketball team also uses the court, ensuring the space is active throughout the year.
