Stadium
Gaziantep Kalyon Stadyumu
Gaziantep, Turkey
Formerly: Gaziantep Arena, Kalyon Stadyumu
The most immediate feature is the shape of the facade.
What is visible in the surroundings is perhaps just as defining as the building itself.
The stadium opened in 2017, a relatively recent addition to the football landscape here. It replaced the older Kamil Ocak Stadium, which was demolished.
It has hosted international fixtures, including a friendly between Turkey and the Czech Republic, but its primary role has been the home for local clubs. The current tenants are Gaziantep FK, who moved in alongside the dissolved Gaziantepspor. The venue was also scheduled to host the 2025 Turkish Cup Final, a significant occasion that places it on the national calendar.
