The Green Sports Arena sits in Rindum, a quiet stretch of Ringkøbing-Skjern Municipality where the wind does not stop but the noise does not travel far.
Once known as the ROFI-Centret, the venue has been called the Green Sports Arena since 2016. It holds 1,100 spectators and serves as the home for Ringkøbing Håndbold, a side in the Danish Women’s Handball League (Damehåndboldligaen). The building covers roughly 10,000 square metres and also houses squash courts, a gym and shooting ranges. What happened inside it on matchdays is harder to pin down: the sources give no clear opening date, no builder’s name, and no match statistics. The playing surface is not documented, though parquet flooring is standard here. A separate outdoor football ground called Green Arena exists in Ringkøbing, but it is a different place entirely, used by Ringkøbing IF since 1999.
