The hall stands in the northern part of Wągrowiec, near the lake, and belongs to the centre of sport and recreation.
The hall opened its doors in 1981 after four years of building. The floor is wood, sanded and varnished, and the seats are fixed. The club that uses it most is MKS Nielba Wągrowiec for handball, while the football side plays at the outdoor stadium next door.
The parquet floor was renewed in 2014 and maintained again in 2024, which suggests the surface is important to the users.
