The structure sits within the broader Nadderud Idrettspark complex. Inside, the capacity is tight: 2,050 seats and 300 standing places.

The hall was completed in February 2015 by the Danish firm MT Højgaard. The joint venture behind the build split ownership evenly between Haslum Idrettslag and Stabæk Håndball. Inside, the capacity is tight: 2,050 seats and 300 standing places.

The venue has hosted significant matches, including qualifiers for the EHF EURO 2022 and the Davis Cup tie between Norway and Portugal in September 2024, when Casper Ruud stepped onto the courts. This is not the ground that holds the national handball attendance record; that honour belongs to Fornebu Arena elsewhere.
