Pabellón San Francisco Javier
A Coruña, Spain
The Pabellón San Francisco Javier sits in the San Francisco Javier district of A Coruña, tucked behind the Colegio Público San Francisco Javier on Calle Roberto Tojeiro Díaz. A local handball club, OAR Coruña 1952, calls it home.
Inside, the space is tight. The capacity sits at 230, a number that changes little from season to season. In November 2025, it hosted a match against CD Nava, a side from the top-tier Liga Asobal. That game marked the first official national competition fixture involving a Liga Asobal team in the province.
The city council manages the venue through its Servicio Municipal de Deportes. It hosts the Copa Galicia de Balonmán finals alongside regular domestic handball matches, keeping the schedule full while the wider city looks elsewhere for spectacle.
