Pala Keope
Casalgrande, Italy
The arena does not announce itself with a grand façade. Its identity is quiet, tucked behind a social enterprise mural in the underpass. That is the first thing you notice.
There is no grass here, only the parquet floor, standard for indoor handball. It is a busy place.
It has been here since at least 1998, when the local team played their home matches in the Coppa Italia 1998-1999 tournament. The exact year it was built is not recorded in any source.
The crowds are small. During the pandemic in September 2020, attendance was limited to 200 seats. The men's team, formerly Modula Casalgrande, plays in Serie A Bronze, while the women's side competes in Serie A1. They share this room.
There is no capacity figure listed in the official records. The address is Via Aosta 44.
The teams have been here for decades.
