REMA 1000 Arena
Tønsberg (Tolvsrød), Norway
Formerly: Flinthallen, Sparebanken Norge Arena
The REMA 1000 Arena sits quietly in the Tolvsrød district of Tønsberg, far removed from the football terraces that dominate the town's sporting consciousness. While FK Tønsberg and FK Eik Tønsberg play their games on the grass at Tønsberg Gressbane, this venue serves a different purpose, standing as the home of Flint Tønsberg, the women’s handball side competing in the top division. The building itself is unassuming, constructed by Panelbygg AS, but it carries an energy label of A, suggesting a modern approach to efficiency within its 1,600 m² footprint.
The arena recently shed one name for another; as of June 2026, it operates under the Sparebanken Norge Arena title, having previously been known as the Flinthallen.
The ground has seen its share of high-stakes moments despite its modest size. In May 2024, it hosted a crucial relegation play-off against Romerike Ravens. The crowd of 677 packed into the hall, watching as Flint Tønsberg fought for survival.
