Sala Sporturilor Ghimbav

**Opened in 2024**, the facility replaced a tired predecessor, rising from an upgrade of the local sports complex that also includes a swimming pool and fitness halls.

The interior is defined by its function rather than its architecture. The hall is designed for a crowd of 500, a modest capacity that keeps the events intimate. It hosts the handball side CSO Teutonii Ghimbav, alongside basketball and gymnastics sessions. A separate football ground exists in the town, Stadionul FC 2000 Ghimbav, but this indoor centre serves a different purpose. It is a utilitarian space, its value measured in the new branding added in September 2026 and the security elements fitted to keep the door closed.
