Sporthal De Haamen

Sporthal De Haamen sits on a corner in Beek, a town in Limburg where the municipal sports hall has outlived half its own name. It began as Sportpark De Haamen, became Sportcomplex De Haamen, and settled as Sportlandgoed De Haamen in 2013. These changes marked renovation eras rather than new constructions, with upgrades in 1992, 2013, and 2018 reshaping the interior without altering the footprint.

Teams like HV BFC, formed from the merger of two local handball clubs in 1998, have called this space home for decades, alongside futsal clubs and wheelchair hockey sides.

What distinguishes the Sporthal De Haamen is its continuity. The official website lists the address as De Haamen 1, a location that feels less like a landmark and more like a neighborhood fixture.
